Trains after School | Aafrine

For about a year when I was in pre-school my beautiful mother took me to the train station for a few minutes every weekday after I finished. I loved sitting on the station bench with my mum and watching the trains until I was told by a member of staff that:
1. We were not allowed to be at the station unless we were riding on a train, and:
2. I was not allowed to race the train as it left the station.
We both understood the second one – well, mum did (I only actually 40% went with it because it was fun) – but we didn’t like the first reason. Nevertheless, we listened and stopped going there. We still went there for the occasional visit to Stratford-upon-Avon or the city centre. I loved that.
