I don’t know where to start. Aafi was truly 1 of a kind; cheeky, mischievous, fun, kind and always smiling. She gave the warmest hugs and best advice to us over the years. I missed her the days I couldn’t visit and always planned my days off to go and see her. We shared lots of teas together, sitting in the garden. This was her sanctuary. She loved sitting out and chatting away. She touched our hearts, my children adored her and always asked me to take them to her. She asked about her best mate Ayyub monkey right till the end. He was sad to see his cheeky monkey Aunty Aafi fast asleep.
You are gone but never forgotten my sweetheart. Your children are a testament to you. Usman has been the rock, single handedly taking care of you over the years. Nothing has been too much for him. It’s now time for us all to take care of him and your beautiful angels. As your journey in this world has come to an end, we embrace one another. I promise to take care of your children for as long as I am around and remind them of you. They are strong, resilient and kind just like you. They will all do so well and you’ll be looking down smiling at them. Until we meet in jannah again inshallah xxxxx
